Overview

The View Metrics feature allows users to view and analyze published metrics in an intuitive way, including summary statistics, visual charts, and detailed information. It provides flexible filtering options so users can view metrics by different scopes, objects, purposes, as well as by date and collection time. Users can also bookmark frequently used metrics for quick access.

Use Cases

• View a single metric: Click a metric in the list to view its summary statistics, charts, and details, enabling a quick understanding of the indicator status.
• Compare multiple metrics: Use the combined view to select multiple metrics and display their statistics and charts together for comparison.
• Filter metrics: Filter by scope, date, collection time, and other conditions to ensure the displayed data matches specific needs.
• Switch chart types: Switch between chart types (e.g., line chart, bar chart) to visualize the same data in different ways.
• Bookmark common metrics: Bookmark frequently used or key metrics for faster future access.

On the metric viewing page, you can view published metrics with the following capabilities:

• View a metric’s summary statistics, visual charts, and details.
• View multiple metrics’ summary statistics, visual charts, and details.
• Filter metrics by different scopes, objects, and purposes.
• View statistics and charts for metrics under different scopes, dates, and collection times.
• Switch chart types to visualize metrics.
• Bookmark metrics.

1. View a Single Metric

1.1 Summary statistics

Click a metric in the metric list. Its summary statistics are displayed in the metric panel on the right.

Click a metric in the metric list. Its visualization chart is displayed in the metric panel on the right.

1.3 Details

In the metric display panel, click Details to view detailed information for the selected metric.

2. Combined View of Metrics

On the metric viewing page, click Combined View to switch to the combined view page.

Summary statistics and visualization

On the combined view page, checkboxes appear before each metric in the list. Select multiple metrics to display their summary statistics and charts together on the right.

3. Select Statistic Data for Metrics

Collection time selection

Select a collection date and click Search to display metric data calculated for that collection time.

4. Switch Chart Types

Click Chart Type to choose different chart types to visualize the statistics.

5. Bookmark Metrics

Click the Bookmark icon to the right of a metric title to add it to My Bookmarked metrics.
