Summary : Test configuration in Sanplex lets administrators customize fields and enums for Bugs, Test Cases, Suites, Test Runs, Test Reports, and Case Libraries to standardize testing workflows and data quality.

In Admin > Feature Configuration > Test, configure elements for Bugs, Test Cases, Suites, Test Runs, Test Reports, and Case Libraries.

I. Bug Settings

1. Bug – Required Fields

In Test > Bug > Required Fields, configure required fields for the Submit, Edit, and Resolve pages.

2. Bug – Priority

In Test > Bug > Priority, configure Bug priorities.

3. Bug – Severity

In Test > Bug > Severity, configure Bug severity levels.

4. Bug – Operating System

In Test > Bug > Operating System, configure the operating system values for Bugs.

In Test > Bug > Browser, configure the browser values for Bugs.

In Test > Bug > Type, configure Bug types.

In Test > Bug > Resolution, configure Bug resolutions.

9. Bug – Days Without Updates

In Test > Bug > Days Without Updates, configure the threshold used by the No Updates label on the Bug list. Bugs that have not been processed within the specified number of days will be listed under that label.

II. Test Case Settings

1. Test Case – Required Fields

In Test > Test Case > Required Fields, configure required fields on the Create and Edit pages.

In Test > Test Case > Priority, configure test case priorities.

7. Test Case – Review Workflow

In Test > Test Case > Review Workflow, configure whether test cases use a review workflow.

If mandatory reviewers are configured, then test cases submitted by those mandatory reviewers must go through the review workflow regardless of whether the review workflow is enabled.

In Test > Suite > Required Fields, configure required fields on the Create and Edit pages for suites.
