Sanplex provides end-to-end Scrum support for organizations, including role alignment and full-process support for product management, sprint management, and release management. This helps teams adopt agile development practices quickly and effectively.
This section explains how to create a Scrum project in Sanplex and highlights its key characteristics.
I. Create a Scrum Project

3. Fill in the project information
On the project creation page, the following fields are especially important:
3.1 Project Type
- Product-based project: A project centered on the development and delivery of a specific product. It usually covers the full product lifecycle, from concept and design to market release, followed by maintenance and ongoing updates. Progress is driven by continuous changes and iterations in product features and requirements.
- Project-based project: A temporary project created for a specific task or objective. It usually has a clear start date and end date, and is intended to deliver a defined outcome or result.
3.2 Project Workflow
In addition to the standard project workflow, Sanplex also supports customized workflows. Teams can configure workflow templates and combine different objects based on business needs, enabling more flexible management of different types of projects.
3.3 Enable Sprint
- Enabled: When sprint management is enabled, the project is divided into multiple sprints. Each sprint has a fixed timebox, usually from one to four weeks. Delivery is incremental, and each sprint can produce a usable part of the product or feature set.
- Disabled: When sprint management is disabled, the project itself is treated as a single sprint. If multiple rounds of iteration are needed, separate projects need to be created.
Other fields are standard project settings and can be completed as needed.

II. Start the Project
For projects with sprint management enabled, after the project is created, you can go to the sprint list and add the first sprint to begin agile execution.

For projects without sprint management enabled, after the project is created, you can go directly to the task list and maintain project tasks.
