Summary : This section introduces the Project Test module (Quality Assurance) in Sanplex Premium. It details how to create quality assurance plans, perform structured inspections, resolve non-conformances, and configure comprehensive Test checklists within the Admin settings to ensure project quality and compliance.

Feature introduction

The Test module (formerly known as QA or Quality Assurance) represents a system of activities designed to ensure that quality management tasks are executed and completed effectively. It focuses on measuring and inspecting quality, as well as improving processes to enhance software quality and guide software releases.


Sanplex Premium adds the Test feature module under the Project menu. You can add quality assurance plans and track non-conformances.

1. Create quality assurance plans

The left side of the quality assurance plan list page features built-in categories for inspection objects.

Click Create Plan and select the Belonging Process, Inspection Object, and related documents. You must configure these documents beforehand by navigating to Admin > Model > Waterfall > Test.

After clicking Save, you will automatically return to the list page where you can see the newly created quality assurance plan. Click Inspect in the action column to proceed.

2. Inspect based on plans

You can inspect the specific items that have been configured in the "Inspection Content" section under Admin > Model > Waterfall > Test.

3. Manage non-conformances

If any non-conformances are identified during the inspection, you can view and track them in the list under Project > Test > Non-conformance.

Click the Resolve button in the action column to enter the resolution page. Select the Resolution Measure, fill in the Completion Statement, and click Save.

4. Configure Test checklists

Navigate to Admin > Model > Waterfall > Test. The left side of the page provides built-in categories for inspection objects. Click the Batch Create button.

For example, to configure items for "Story Development", you can select the document "User Story Review / Peer Review Report", choose "V&V (Verification and Validation)" as the practice area, select "Result" as the object type, and add the specific text in the Inspection Content column.

After clicking Save, you can view the Test inspection content under the "Story Development" category.

The configured content will automatically appear in the inspection items of the related quality assurance plans.
