You can configure Sanplex usage modes based on your company size or business scenario. Lightweight Management Mode provides core project management capabilities and is suitable for small R&D teams.

Full Lifecycle Management Mode is more comprehensive and rigorous, with richer functionality, and is suitable for medium to large R&D teams.

In Admin > System Settings > Modules, you can set the Sanplex usage mode.

I. Enter System Settings

Click System Settings in the Settings section on the home page to enter System Settings.

II. Modes

Full Lifecycle Management Mode is more comprehensive and rigorous, with richer functionality, and is suitable for medium to large R&D teams.

Go to System Settings > Mode to view the supported mode types, applicable scenarios, and included features.

III. Switch Modes

Click Use Lightweight Mode or Use Full Lifecycle Mode at the bottom of the page to switch.

By default, switching only hides or shows certain features and does not affect existing data.

1. Switch from “Full Lifecycle Mode” to “Lightweight Management Mode”

The system will hide features that are not available in Lightweight Management Mode and will process historical data accordingly.

2. Switch from “Lightweight Management Mode” to “Full Lifecycle Mode”

Since Full Lifecycle Management Mode provides the most complete set of features, switching to this mode only requires a confirmation prompt to prevent misoperation.
