Stories can be managed under both products and projects. When creating a product plan, you can link the product's stories to it. Then, when creating a project, you can link stories according to that plan. Alternatively, you can add stories directly within the project. Project Managers can watch the following video to learn how to link stories in Sanplex:

Stories within a project: After entering a specific project, you can click the Create Story button to add new ones, or you can directly link existing stories from the product associated with the project. Stories added to executions under the project will automatically synchronize to the project's story list.
We will use a Waterfall project as an example to introduce project stories.
Navigate to Project > select a Waterfall project > Story > Create Story to create new stories here.
After creating a project, you can link business stories, user stories, and standard stories. In the early stages, you can link high-level business and user stories, and then break them down into standard stories once the requirements become clearer.
- Within the project, the lists for business stories, user stories, and standard stories are consolidated into a single unified story list. This allows project members to easily view all stories linked to the project in one place.
- When you unlink a story, it only unlinks that specific item without affecting parent or child stories in other projects. If you want to remove them together, you can select multiple items for batch removal.

When creating or editing a project, there is a toggle to restrict the story concepts that can be linked. You can use this switch to control whether business stories and user stories can be linked to the project.

In Waterfall projects, a Story menu is available within requirement-type phases.

In Waterfall projects, comprehensive, requirement, and design phases support the management of business stories, user stories, and standard stories. Other iterations, phases, and boards only allow linking standard stories.

Due to the different concepts and phases of stories, the R&D board within an execution displays business stories, user stories, parent stories, and standard stories.
