The Hybrid Agile project management model extends Agile project management by also supporting Kanban boards within the same project. Teams can choose how to use these capabilities based on actual delivery needs.

For example, a team may use sprints during the early phase of a project to deliver features, and later switch to Kanban boards to manage maintenance and ongoing support work.

I. Create a Hybrid Agile Project

When creating a project, go to the Project Management Mode page and select Hybrid Agile.

Fill in the required information and click Save to create the Hybrid Agile project.

II. Create Sprints and Boards

A Hybrid Agile project supports both sprints from Agile projects and boards from Kanban projects.

In a Hybrid Agile project, open the Sprint List. From the Add Sprint dropdown on the right, you can choose to create either a sprint or a board.

You can also click Add Sprint directly and then switch to Kanban in the Management Method dropdown.

Note: The Management Method can only be selected when the item is created. It cannot be changed later during editing.

III. Use Sprints and Boards
