Sanplex provides an enhanced document detail experience, supporting full-screen preview, favorite (bookmark), edit, and delete actions. In Standard and above, it also supports export, version comparison, and viewing history and other related document information.
After Sanplex upgraded its editor, the document detail page layout was redesigned and the placement of document action buttons was optimized.
Sanplex also provides a Quick Access secondary navigation, where you can view document information related to you.
Sanplex introduces Sections for documents. You can create sections under a document, and create unlimited-level hierarchies with sub-documents.
1. Assign Permissions
1.1 Document Browse Permissions
First, assign the relevant permissions for document detail operations.
Go to Admin > User Management > Permissions > Document Management and assign the required permissions. Permission assignment can be configured flexibly based on actual business needs.

2. Maintain Wiki Documents
2.1 Create a Wiki Document
Go to Documents > My Space and click Create Wiki Document to create a Wiki document. If there are no documents under the selected library or folder, you can also click Create Document on the page.
You can switch between personal libraries and folders in the left tree navigation, then click Create on the right to create a document under the current library or folder.

After entering the document content, click Publish. The system automatically fills in the target library and folder. You can also Save as Draft, and the document will appear in the document list under My Space.
Sanplex supports adding keywords, uploading attachments, and CC to specific users or groups.

When creating a Wiki document, you can select a template.

2.2 Favorite Documents
In the document list, click the Favorite icon to favorite a document. Favorited documents appear in the dashboard block My Favorited Documents, and also in My Space > My Favorites.

2.3 Edit and Delete
Documents can be edited and deleted.

You can edit or delete a single document, and you can also favorite documents. Favorited documents appear in the dashboard block My Favorited Documents, and also in My Space > My Favorites.

2.4 Display Settings
In the left tree navigation, you can configure whether to display document titles in the navigation.

2.5 Version Comparison
Note (Sanplex): Version comparison may not be available depending on your edition and configuration. If the feature is not enabled, this section will not apply.
Click Version (to the right of the title) to view content from different versions. After multiple edits, you can use Compare to highlight changes between versions.
Note: In version comparison:
- deleted content is highlighted with red background/red text;
- new content is highlighted with green background/green text.

Select two versions to compare and review the differences.

You can switch versions for comparison, or cancel the comparison.

2.6 View Document Information

Under the document title on the detail page, you can view the author, publish time, favorite count, view count, and keywords.

- On the right side of the document detail page, Sanplex supports full-screen preview, and also provides access to history and update records.

History is hidden by default. Click History to view all records.

2.7 Export Documents
Click Export in the upper-right corner. Choose the export scope:
- All documents in the list, or
- Selected documents.
Export format is Word, encoding is UTF-8, and you can export as a ZIP package or merge into a single document.

On a document detail page, click Export in the upper-right corner to export the current document with one click.

3. Manage Documents
3.1 Create Documents
If there are no documents, click Create Document in the document detail area to create a document.

If documents already exist, open the Create dropdown and click Create Document.

When creating a document, you can either Save as Draft or Publish. A document is either in Draft status or Published status. After publishing, the status cannot be changed.

3.2 Document Access Control
When creating a document, you can configure per-user view and edit permissions for that specific document. If you set the document to Private, you can add users to the Read-only list and the Editable list.

In the left folder tree navigation, select a document and click More. From the dropdown menu, you can create Sub-documents under the current document.

3.3 View Documents
After creating documents, you can view them in the left tree navigation (documents under the current library), and the Document List panel on the right.

After creating sub-sections or sub-documents, you can view the documents under the selected section in the left tree navigation.

3.4 Edit/Delete Documents
To edit a document, click Edit in the action column of the document list.

On a document detail page, click Edit in the upper-right corner to edit the document.

To delete a document, click Delete in the action column of the document list.

You can also click More in the left tree navigation and choose Delete Document.

Note: Deleted documents can be restored from Admin > System Settings > Recycle Bin. After restoration, the document returns to its original location.
3.5 Move Documents
To move a single document, click Move in the action column to open the move dialog, then select the destination location.

To move documents in bulk, select multiple documents in the list, then click Batch Move at the bottom and choose the destination location.

Notes:
- When moving documents into My Space (API documents in API Space do not support moving), the permission is set to Private and cannot be changed.
- When moving documents from My Space to other spaces (API documents in API Space do not support moving), the permission defaults to Private. You may choose to configure an allowlist of users or switch the document to Public.

3.6 Favorite Documents
Click the Favorite icon in the document list to favorite a document. You can also favorite a document from the document detail page.

Click the Quick Access secondary navigation. From the dropdown in the upper-left breadcrumb navigation, you can view Recently Viewed, Created by Me, Favorited by Me, and Edited by Me documents.

You can also access these views from document list pages in My Space, Team Space, Product Space, and Project Space by switching filters/tags.

3.7 Export Documents
To export a single document, open the More dropdown on the document detail page and click Export. The document can be exported directly to Word format.

To export documents in bulk, select documents in the list and export them together.

When exporting, choose the scope selected documents, or all documents in the list. You can export as a ZIP package or merge into a single document.

3.8 Switch Document Versions
After a document has been edited and published multiple times, you can switch versions on the document detail page by clicking the version number shown to the right of the breadcrumb navigation in the upper-left corner. After switching, the corresponding version content is displayed in the detail view.

Note (Sanplex): Versions here refer to published versions of the document for traceability, not product release versions.
3.9 View Basic Document Information
On the document detail page, click Document Info on the right panel to view the document’s basic information.

Click Outline to view the document outline structure.

Click Linked Objects to view related objects linked to the document.

Click Full Screen to view the document in full screen.

Click Collapse to collapse the information area and show only action buttons.

3.10 Switch Documents
On the document detail page, use the breadcrumb navigation in the upper-left corner to switch documents, libraries, and spaces.

3.11 Search Documents
Click the search icon in the upper-right corner of the document list. Enter document titles, keywords, and other terms for fuzzy search.

You can also search for documents in a specific space and library when switching documents from the breadcrumb navigation on the document detail page.
