In Sanplex Standard and above (including Premium and Enterprise), documents in the R&D management interface support real-time collaboration. After you download and deploy the collaboration service for your operating system, Sanplex documents can be edited concurrently online with real-time autosave.
1. Deploy the Collaboration Service
For download and deployment instructions, refer to the documentation: https://www.zentao.net/book/zentaopms/1719.html (这里的链接需要更换)
This guide will not repeat those steps.
Next, we explain how to use real-time document collaboration in Sanplex.
2. Grant Collaboration Permissions
Each document has access control. You can grant others read and write permissions as needed.
You can assign collaborator permissions either:
- when creating the document, or
- by clicking Settings on the document editing page and configuring collaborator read/write permissions in the pop-up window.
Note: Documents in My Space and documents in Draft status are inherently private—only the creator can read and write them. Therefore, these documents do not support real-time collaboration.

3. Concurrent Real-Time Editing
Multiple users can edit the same document at the same time without conflicts. On the document editing page, you can see the avatars of all active collaborators. Hover over an avatar to view the collaborator’s name.

4. Real-Time Autosave
Once connected to the collaboration service, all edits made during collaboration are saved in real time and automatically synchronized to every collaborator’s editing page with near-zero delay, enabling an “edit-and-save instantly” experience.

5. Real-Time Visibility of Actions
Cursors follow in real time. You can see where collaborators are editing, including their name and the content being edited.

Important: Imported documents are assigned new document IDs. Because the collaboration service connection relies on the document ID, imported documents currently do not support real-time collaboration.
