Feature Overview

Dimensions (Standard version) is a core capability in the Sanplex Report module. It focuses on organizing and switching multi-dimensional data views. With this feature, you can efficiently manage how large-screen dashboards, pivot tables, and charts are displayed under different dimensions, and you can add, edit, or delete custom dimensions to flexibly adapt data classification.

Key capabilities include:

• Dimension Navigation: Quickly switch dimensions via a dropdown to view reports and visualizations under the selected dimension.
• Dimension Management: Create, edit, and delete dedicated dimensions to support enterprise-specific data classification and improve administration efficiency.

Use Cases

• Cross-dimension analysis: When you need to compare the same dataset by business line, region, time period, or other dimensions, you can switch views in one click without reconfiguring reports repeatedly.
• Custom dimension governance: For scenarios requiring independent classification systems (e.g., customer tiers, project types), administrators can create dedicated dimensions to keep data well organized.
• Multi-team collaboration: When multiple departments or teams share the same Report module, separate dimensions help isolate views (and related access scope) so each team focuses on relevant data.

With dimension management, you can manage large-screen dashboards, pivot tables, and charts. Key functions include:

• Use Dimension Navigation to switch and view dashboards, pivot tables, and charts across different dimensions.
• Use Dimension Management to add, delete, and edit dimensions.

1. Dimension Navigation

Select a dimension from the dropdown list to enter the target dimension.

2. Manage Dimensions (Standard Version)

2.1 Go to Report > Dimensions to view all dimensions in the management list.

2.2 In Report > Dimensions, click Create Dimension to create a dedicated dimension.

2.3 In the same list, you can edit or delete dimensions.
