Feature Overview
Deliverables are a core part of project execution. This feature helps teams track, review, version, and manage key project outputs throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Project managers can manage deliverables across major stages such as requirements, design, development, testing, and release, making sure each output meets quality expectations and delivery timelines.
The feature also supports versioning. After a deliverable passes peer review, a version can be generated automatically, together with the review outcome and change history. This makes it easier to trace updates, compare versions, and reuse approved outputs in future work.
Use Cases
1. Control stage-based project outputs
At key stages such as requirements, design, development, testing, and release, project managers can manage deliverables against a defined deliverable list, including submission source, submitter, submission time, and delivery status. This helps ensure that outputs are complete, traceable, and delivered on time.
2. Review deliverable quality
After a deliverable is submitted, teams can start a peer review, capture review comments and outcomes, and drive status changes based on the review result. Only deliverables that pass review move forward to the next stage, helping establish consistent quality gates and stronger process governance.
3. Compare versions and trace changes
Approved deliverables can generate version numbers. The system keeps the full history, making it easy to compare versions and trace why changes were made. This reduces document confusion and lowers delivery risk caused by version errors.
I. Submit a Deliverable
- In the deliverable list, click Submit in the upper-right corner to open the deliverable submission page.
- Deliverable Source shows whether the deliverable is submitted at the project level or from a specific execution, so ownership is clear.
- Deliverable Type defines the category of the deliverable, allowing the system to match the appropriate template, checks, and review workflow automatically.
- You can select only docs that are already published in the project and that the current user has permission to view. You can also create a new doc during submission and use it as the deliverable.

II. View Deliverable Details
- In the deliverable list, click a deliverable name to open its details page. From there, you can preview the content and view its basic information and history.
- If a deliverable has gone through multiple reviews and been approved more than once, you can use the version switcher next to the title to view previously approved versions.
- If a deliverable has been approved and added to a baseline, a baseline icon is shown next to the version.

III. Edit a Deliverable
- In the deliverable list, deliverables in Pending Review and Approved status can be edited. Click Edit in the action column to open the editor for the underlying doc.
- If an approved deliverable is edited and the doc is republished, its version status in the deliverable list changes to Updated, indicating that the content has changed since the last approved version.

IV. Delete a Deliverable
Only deliverables that have never entered a review workflow can be deleted.
Click Delete in the action column to remove the deliverable.
Deleting the deliverable does not affect its underlying doc.
