A Program is a collection of interrelated projects managed in a coordinated way. Occupying the highest level of the system hierarchy, it is a strategic concept that enables multi-level management. This helps managers maintain a macro perspective when formulating strategic directions and allocating resources. Furthermore, Sanplex supports hierarchical authorization, allowing programs, sub-programs, and projects to be isolated from one another through specific permission settings.

Within the Program module, you can view the program list based on their status, as well as use the Add Program and Create Project functions.

I. Add a program

Click Add Program to enter the page and fill in the relevant program information.

Notes:

• Hierarchy: You can select an existing program as its parent or create a brand-new top-level program.
• Access Control: Access permissions can be set to Private, Public, or restricted via a Whitelist.
• Budget Management: Sanplex provides program budget management, allowing you to enter a specific budget or set it as "To Be Determined."
• Program Board: The Program Board offers a visual overview of the program, including its sub-products, projects, and execution information.

After clicking Save, you will automatically return to the program list. From the actions column, you can start, suspend, close, edit, or delete the program. You can also create sub-programs from this menu.

II. Create a project

Click Create Project to enter the project creation page. You can choose to associate the project with an existing program or create it as an independent project.

After clicking Save, you will return to the program list. Independent projects will appear at the same level as programs in the structure.

Both projects belonging to a program and independent projects can be viewed and managed under the Project module.
