Products are connected with Programs, Projects, and Executions, and most work in Sanplex is organized around Products.

Under Product > Dashboard, you can view statistics and progress across all Products in the system, as well as Product-related information such as requirements, Bugs, Plans, and Releases.

On the Product List page under Product, you can view all Products you have permission to access, or view Products by Project. You can also create Products, edit product lines, and export the Product List.

Product Kanban provides a visual way to view Products. You can track the progress of Products you are responsible for, or view the progress of all Products you have access to.

Click a Product name to view all details for that Product.

1. Create a Product

Click Create Product to open the product creation page. You can select an existing product line or check Create New Product Line.

If a Test Owner is assigned, that user becomes the default assignee for Bugs created under the Product. If a Release Owner is assigned, release notifications for the Product are sent to that user. If Feedback Owner and Ticket Owner are assigned, feedback items or tickets submitted under the Product are assigned to those users by default.

Note: The form opens in Simplified View by default and can be switched to Full View. After switching, the system will open the form in Full View by default the next time. In Simplified View, some non-essential fields are collapsed and can be expanded when needed. Full View displays all available fields.

Click Save to go directly to the Development Requirements page for the Product. Next, you can maintain the Product’s development requirements, Plans, Projects, Releases, and other related information, which are explained in later sections.

2. Manage Product Lines

Go to Product > Product List > Product Lines to create product lines and reorder them.

3. Export Products

Go to Product > Product List > Export to export the Product List.
