Feature Overview
Charts is one of the core features in the Sanplex Report module. It is used for data visualization and chart management. The module is split into a View page and a Design & Management page, covering the full workflow from viewing to designing charts. Users can browse charts by category via a group tree, view multiple charts side by side, and perform group management and chart design. With capabilities such as SQL-based data queries, parameter settings, and filter configuration, Charts enables flexible and dynamic visualization of data.
Use Cases
- Data analysis and visualization: On the Report pages, users can browse built-in and published charts to quickly gain insights. Users can locate specific charts via groups, or compare multiple related charts using the combined view feature.
- Chart classification and management: Users of the Standard Version and above can maintain the chart group structure on the design page. Charts can be organized by business line or data type, with support for adding, editing, and deleting groups to keep the chart library well-structured.
- Custom chart design: Data analysts can create tailored charts using the chart designer. They can retrieve data sources via SQL queries, configure chart parameters, filters, and basic information to meet specific visualization needs.
- Multi-team collaboration: Users of the Standard Version and above can manage charts across their lifecycle, including redesigning, updating versions, and deleting obsolete charts, ensuring the chart library remains current and accurate.
