This section explains how to create and design Agent Apps in the Admin panel.

I. Create an app

Go to Admin > Agent Settings > Agent Apps. On the Agent Apps list page, click Create Agent App to open the App Designer.

II. Configure basic information

Creating an Agent App includes two steps: configuring basic information, and configuring the form and prompt.

In step 1, configure the app’s basic information, including Category, Language Model, Name, Description, and Icon.

III. Configure app fields

In step 2, configure the app’s form and prompt settings, including Field Configuration, Prompt Template, Debug Content, Prompt Preview, and Result Preview. Save the configuration to complete the app design.

Start by configuring fields. Sanplex provides three built-in fields to help you quickly understand the field configuration workflow. Click the + button to open the field configuration dialog:

1. Field name is required.
2. Select a field control type: Single-line text, Multi-line text, Multi-select, or Single-select. For multi-select and single-select, you can define option values.
3. Set an input hint, which will be shown as guidance text in the app form.
4. Configure whether the field is required. Required fields are validated when the form is submitted.

IV. Configure the app prompt

After fields are configured, administrators can assemble field values into a prompt. Sanplex provides a rule-based syntax and supports fuzzy search to help build prompts efficiently.

V. Debug the app

After configuring fields and the prompt, you can debug the content. Enter values in the debug input area; the system will concatenate them with the prompt template and display the final prompt in the preview area on the right. The preview content is what will be sent to the language model.
